Approximately 20 guard dogs killed over 20 animals at a sheepfold in Olt. The director of the Olt Pension House was fined 500 lei for negligence.

A serious incident occurred in Olt County, where approximately 20 guard dogs, belonging to the director of the Olt County Pension House, broke into a sheepfold in the locality of Curtișoara. The dogs dug under the fence and killed over 20 goats, sheep, lambs, and kids.

The owner of the sheepfold reported that this is not the first such situation, having similar incidents in the last four years, without receiving compensation from the director of the Pension House. Following the attack, the police and gendarmerie intervened, and the director was fined 500 lei for leaving the dogs unsupervised. The owner of the sheepfold intends to sue the director to claim compensation of 30,000 lei.
