Customs inspectors from the South Constanța Border Customs Office conducted an inspection of a container arriving from China, belonging to a company from Ukraine. Following the checks, approximately 83,000 car spark plugs were seized, of which 2,200 were undeclared. These goods are suspected of infringing intellectual property rights for a brand protected internationally. The total value of the goods, if sold at the market price of an original product, amounts to 4,932,000 lei. The customs authority will send the goods for expertise and, upon completion of the case, appropriate legal measures will be applied.
