The Competition Council has authorized the acquisition of the Saint Sava the Blessed Hospital in Ilfov by Affidea Diagnostics B.V.

The Competition Council announced the authorization of the transaction through which Affidea Diagnostics B.V. intends to acquire the Saint Sava the Blessed Hospital SRL, located in Ilfov County. Following the analysis conducted, the authority concluded that the operation will not create significant obstacles to competition in the Romanian market, thus ensuring a normal competitive environment.

Affidea Diagnostics B.V., a holding company registered in the Netherlands, owns 32 companies in Romania, providing medical services through 80 clinics and two hospitals in 34 towns. The Saint Sava the Blessed Hospital SRL specializes in medical rehabilitation, functional rehabilitation, and palliative care. The Council's decision will be published on the website of the national competition authority after the removal of confidential information.
