The authorities in Sibiu have activated the Red Intervention Plan after the ceiling of a hotel pool collapsed. It is not known if there are any victims.

On Tuesday afternoon, the authorities in Sibiu triggered the Red Intervention Plan following the collapse of the ceiling at the indoor pool of a hotel located at the exit of the municipality towards Rășinari. The Sibiu County Police Inspectorate announced that crews were dispatched to the scene after a call to 112.
The intervention includes 2 SMURD ambulances, 4 SAJ ambulances, a special vehicle for transporting personnel and multiple victims, a rescue vehicle, 3 firefighting vehicles, and 2 first intervention vehicles. So far, it is not known if there are any people trapped under the rubble, and the intervention teams are working to assess the situation and clear the collapsed construction elements.
