Florea Remus-Mugurel, deputy of IPJ Ilfov, announced that the suspect is now in the custody of the authorities. He was caught after barricading himself in an apartment and threatening that he would kill his other son as well. Negotiators managed to convince him to release the child, and the intervention of special forces took place simultaneously on several fronts, without any casualties. The 3-year-old child was killed by his stepfather, and the mother alerted the authorities after five days.
