The Municipality of Bucharest announced that, starting Monday, it will begin the modernization works of the tram tracks on Bd. Bucureștii Noi, Bd. Gloriei, Strada Piatra Morii, and Calea Griviței.

These works are part of a larger project that targets a section of 7 km, starting from Dămăroaia and reaching Piața Victoriei. The general mayor Ciprian Ciucu emphasized the importance of these works to avoid losing European funding, mentioning that the rehabilitation of the tram lines is essential for traffic safety. Additionally, modifications will be made on the routes of lines 53 and 331, but the works will not affect road traffic. Additional information about traffic can be found on the platform maps.mo-bi.ro or on the transport operator's website.
