A plane operating a flight on the Bucharest-Hurghada route reported the activation of a pressurization sensor in the cabin, prompting the captain to return to Henri Coandă International Airport, according to the Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete. Currently, the aircraft is circling the area to reduce weight and prepare for landing, with the maneuver estimated to take about an hour.

There are 180 passengers and 6 crew members on board. The Bucharest-Ilfov Emergency Situations Inspectorate has been notified and has activated a preventive intervention plan, mobilizing rescue teams, special vehicles, and ambulances to ensure a rapid response if necessary.
