The Municipality of Bucharest announced on Saturday that the event "Open Streets 2026" will not allow music played beyond the legal limit, emphasizing the importance of a pleasant environment for the community. The Local Police intervened on Calea Victoriei to check the terraces and request merchants to remove the speakers facing the street. In a Facebook post, the Municipality explained that "Open Streets 2026" focuses on creating a vibrant Bucharest, where citizens can spend quality time participating in artistic and guided activities. The event, now in its sixth edition, takes place on Saturday and Sunday, between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM, on Calea Victoriei and Ion Brezoianu Street, both becoming pedestrian areas. The Municipality thanked the residents for their hospitality and respect.
