Police in Bacău went on alert after the discovery of the body of a woman approximately 26 years old, found next to a railway track. Investigators suspect a murder, considering that multiple wounds were identified on the victim's body, especially in the head area, which appear to be caused by stabbing.

The victim was found by a 36-year-old man, and at the scene, medical teams could only confirm the death. It is suspected that the young woman died the previous night. One theory considered by investigators is that the incident did not occur at the scene, but that the woman was brought there, as a witness claims to have heard screams for help around 9:00 PM. A criminal case has been opened to investigate the circumstances of the death. The autopsy will provide more information about the cause of death.
