Prahova County is facing an emergency situation due to the blizzard, which has caused power outages in several localities. Firefighters have intervened to remedy the damage caused by the strong wind gusts that have toppled electricity poles. In Câmpina, the damage to the electrical network has led to the suspension of drinking water supply, affecting the water pumping and treatment stations.

Additionally, the counties of Buzău and Brăila have reported power outages in 10 and, respectively, 2 localities, without clear estimates for remediation. Electricity distributors have stated that the outages are accidental, caused by severe weather conditions. The Câmpina City Hall has announced that Electrica is working to remedy the damage and that the water supply will be resumed once the electricity is restored.
