Over 210,000 tourists chose the Black Sea coast to celebrate Navy Day and Saint Mary, resulting in a 100% occupancy rate for the second consecutive weekend. Data collected from tour operators and hotel companies show that this weekend was the busiest of the 2026 summer season, according to a statement from the RESTO Constanța employers' association.

Hotels, vacation apartments, and other accommodation structures were fully booked, while restaurants, terraces, and clubs recorded maximum tourist traffic. The high occupancy rate was supported by events such as Navy Day, festivals, and various private events, attracting a large number of visitors to the coast. This peak period highlights the growing popularity of the Romanian coastline.
