The average net salary in July was 5,517 lei, decreasing by 22 lei compared to June, but with an increase of 5.2% compared to July 2024. The highest salaries were recorded in the extraction of oil and gas, while the lowest were in HoReCa. Additionally, in the public sector, salaries decreased in education and public administration. Inflation rose to 9.9% in August, affecting the purchasing power of employees.
