Victoria Furtună, head of the Moldova Mare Party, is the subject of an analysis by the Authority for Citizenship in Bucharest for the possible withdrawal of Romanian citizenship. Accused of having ties with Ilan Șor, an oligarch based in Moscow, Furtună and her party promote the idea of breaking away from Romanian territory.
