The political coalition led by Nicușor Dan proposes tax measures that include cuts in the budget sector and VAT increases for certain services, but maintains the general VAT rate. Among the measures discussed are reduced VAT rates for medicines and water, and VAT increases for accommodation and restaurant services. Also proposed are a solidarity tax on high incomes and a tax on gambling. Cuts in bonuses and job cuts are also on the agenda.
