TAROM has managed to take off from Madrid with 150 passengers despite a power outage affecting Barajas airport. The blackout led to flight delays and cancellations in Spain and Portugal. TAROM crew worked with airport staff to use emergency generators, allowing passengers to board. Flight RO 416 was delayed by only one hour, while the entire power grid in the region is under investigation for the causes of the incident.
