A woman from Craiova filed a complaint with the police after she was scammed out of 10,000 euros for a modular house made of metal containers, which she never received. The police investigation revealed that she is not the only victim, as four more people from Bihor, Hunedoara, Ilfov, and Constanța have been identified who were scammed in the same manner. The suspects, aged between 25 and 51, stopped answering the phone after they received the money. The police have started the verifications and have detained the six individuals for fraud, and now a preventive arrest will be requested. Authorities suspect that the total number of victims could be higher.
