On Tuesday evening, a driver from Suceava was pursued by the police after ignoring the stop signals from the agents. The crew from the Traffic Bureau tried to stop the car at the exit of the municipality, but the driver accelerated, continuing on his way on DN 2-E85.

The police alerted additional crews, and after a few kilometers, the driver abandoned the car on a dirt road and fled into an area with vegetation. The police fired three warning shots, but the man managed to escape. In the abandoned car, packages with contraband were found, and investigations are ongoing for smuggling. After identifying the driver, he will also be penalized for traffic violations.
