After the liberalization of the energy market on 1 July, vulnerable consumers will benefit from monthly support in the form of a voucher to help them pay their bills. The price cap mechanism will be replaced by a more efficient approach targeting low-income people. Burduja stresses that Romania will leave no one behind and aims to increase energy efficiency. In his two-year review, he highlighted attracting €14 billion for investment in the energy sector, keeping prices under control and carrying out significant projects.
