The Quantum Robotics team, made up of students from the International Theoretical High School of Computer Science in Bucharest, achieved remarkable performance, becoming the National Champion at the FIRST Tech Challenge Romania and qualifying for the World Robotics Championship in Houston, Texas.
With a record score of 463 points, the team ranked 1st in the world in the competition standings. The national final was marked by excellent coordination and technical performance, and the team also won the Design Award I for the reliability of the built robot. These achievements brought the young people recognition in the campaign '100 young people for the development of Romania', conducted by the Dan Voiculescu Foundation.
The team's robot stands out with an innovative technical solution, optimized for efficiency and speed, comparable to those developed at the university level. Quantum Robotics has represented Romania in previous international competitions, and their performances have been appreciated by specialists. Now, the students are preparing for the ultimate challenge at the World Championship, where they will compete with the best teams in the world.
