After the explosion that took place on Friday morning at an 8-story building in the Rahova neighborhood, students from the 'Dimitrie Bolintineanu' Theoretical High School in Bucharest will conduct online activities. The prefect of the capital, Andrei Nistor, mentioned that if the structural expertise takes too long, the students might be moved to another school.

State Secretary Raed Arafat stated that a load-bearing pillar of the high school was affected, and several windows were broken, which requires a detailed expertise before physical activities can resume. Approximately 700 students and 400 employees evacuated safely, and a few students required care, but none were transported to the hospital. The damages observed on the facade of the high school did not result in any casualties.
