Starting October 1, student grants will be reduced by 40% under a law adopted by the Bolojan Government. Future teachers and professors will receive 2,165 lei, a drastic drop from the previous amount of around 3,700 lei. Social scholarships remain unchanged, and payments will be made only during classes for budget students. Excellence scholarships disappear and universities will have less money to support students.
