A strong fire broke out on Wednesday at a solvent warehouse located near the Lukoil refinery in Ploiești. The Prahova Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) reported that the fire is spreading over an area of approximately 1,000 square meters, and the cause is currently unknown.

The spokesperson for ISU, Andreea Ursachi, mentioned in an intervention at Digi24 that the fire poses a risk of explosion, but no casualties have been reported. To warn the population, ISU Prahova will issue a RO-Alert message, and traffic on Mihai Bravu Street in Ploiești has been blocked due to the fire. Authorities continue to monitor the situation and intervene to control the flames.
