STB intends to expand the public transport fleet in Bucharest and Ilfov by contracting up to 30 hybrid diesel urban buses, each having a length of 18 meters and a capacity of 130 seats. Bids for the auction can be submitted until October 28, and the winner will have 18 months for delivery. The estimated value of the contract is 21.46 million euros. In addition, the City Hall recently purchased 22 new electric trolleybuses, which will improve public transport in the capital.
