The name 13-15 June 1990 Square will be given to a section of the public space located between Nicolae Balcescu Boulevard and the monument of the Paiațe Wagon in front of the National Theater. The proposal was put forward by General Councillor Nicorel Nicorescu (USR), as a former participant in civil society actions in University Square in the run-up to the mineriade.
