A Black Hawk helicopter from the General Inspectorate of Aviation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs carried out a rescue mission in the Black Sea, evacuating an injured person from an offshore extraction platform located approximately 90 nautical miles (about 167 kilometers) from the shore.
According to the Department for Emergency Situations (DSU), the helicopter crew conducted the recovery operation under safe conditions, applying specific procedures for aerial interventions in the maritime environment. After the rescue, the injured person was transported to a medical unit for specialized care.
This mission highlights the rapid and efficient capability of the National Emergency Management System to intervene in hard-to-reach areas, demonstrating the authorities' commitment to saving human lives.
