The National Union of Public Finances (SindFISC) launches starting Monday the national campaign of protest actions "Our Value - In Law!". Among its main demands is the introduction of a distinct salary scale in the new salary law and the recognition of the specific nature of the activity by compensating for professional prohibitions and risks.

The union emphasizes the need for legislation on a professional status and decent working conditions, as well as the proper funding of the activity. In the context of developing a new salary law, the Government aims to correct accumulated salary imbalances and improve transparency and equity in the system. The project, which will enter public consultation, provides for limiting the ratio between the lowest and highest salary to 1:8 and introduces a clear hierarchy of positions based on salary grades. Salaries will be calculated based on coefficients and an annually established reference value.
