During the red code period, which concerns torrential rains, STS received 2,256 calls to 112, mostly from Bucharest-Ilfov and the counties of Călărași, Constanța, and Ialomița. At one point, Bucharest recorded 200 calls, most reporting floods and fallen trees. STS is adapting technical measures to ensure a rapid response, and the red warning is in effect until 3:00 PM.
