Murder in Vaslui: a 16-year-old teenager killed his friend, then went to a fortune teller to ask if he would be arrested

A 16-year-old teenager killed his 24-year-old friend following a spontaneous conflict, tried to destroy evidence, and then went to a neighbor to ask her to tell his fortune in cards to see if he would be arrested.

The incident took place in the commune of Bunești-Averești, where the victim, who had recently returned from Germany, was at a barbecue.

The two went together to a store, where a conflict broke out, and the teenager became violent, hitting the victim with his fists and feet, even after the victim had fallen to the ground.

After committing the crime, the teenager tried to destroy the evidence by burning the victim's clothes and went to a neighbor to ask her to tell his fortune in cards to see if he would be arrested.

The victim's body was discovered by the suspect's father, and the police found the teenager at his mother's home. Prosecutors have opened a criminal case for qualified murder, and locals are shocked but not surprised by the teenager's behavior, whom they consider dangerous. The boy's mother acknowledges his behavioral problems, and the community is calling for accountability from parents as well. The teenager has been detained and will be presented to judges with a proposal for preventive arrest.
