The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has announced a sudden change in the weather, with yellow code warnings for atmospheric instability for Wednesday, July 9, between 10:00 AM and 11:00 PM.
Storms will affect most regions, including northern Crișana, Maramureș, Transylvania, Moldova, and Dobrogea, where strong winds, torrential rains, electrical discharges, and hail are expected. The wind will have gusts of 50-70 km/h, and in limited areas, the speed will exceed 80 km/h. Rainfall amounts will vary between 15-30 l/m², with possible rapid accumulations and risks of local flooding.
Storms will also occur in Oltenia and Muntenia, thus affecting a large part of the country. Meteorologists recommend caution in these severe weather conditions.
