A survey carried out by Save the Children shows that the percentage of children in severe poverty in Romania is almost three times higher than the European average. 58% of families with children in the organization's programs cannot financially support their children's education without external help, and this percentage rises to 87% among those experiencing subjective poverty. Another 17.2% of children face severe material deprivation. Save the Children continues educational projects to support children from vulnerable backgrounds.
