On Tuesday morning, around 06:00, a serious traffic accident occurred at the intersection of Bd. Uverturii and Str. Apusului, where two cars collided violently. The impact projected one car onto the sidewalk, hitting four pedestrians and two parked vehicles. All four pedestrians suffered injuries and were urgently transported to the hospital by SMURD and Ambulance crews. The drivers involved were tested with a breathalyzer, with results being zero in both cases. Traffic on Bd. Uverturii is being directed by police, which has led to delays in traffic. The Traffic Brigade has opened a case to investigate the causes of the accident.
