The inspectors of the Alba Court of Accounts identified serious financial irregularities at the Cut commune's City Hall, with a damage of 113,594.59 lei, in the period from November 2023 to November 2025. 38 mobile phone subscriptions were reimbursed, although the institution had only 10 employees, and the amounts exceeded the legal limit of 35 lei/subscription. The audit report reveals repeated violations of public procurement legislation between 2021 and 2025, including the lack of notifications in SEAP for direct purchases of approximately 8.7 million lei. The City Hall was fined 5,000 lei for these violations. Additionally, expenses were approved without financial control, leading to an additional fine of 2,500 lei. In total, the applied sanctions amount to 7,500 lei, highlighting serious issues in the management of public funds.
