On Thursday morning, a car with Bulgarian license plates transporting six people, mostly migrants, did not stop at the signals of the border police and violently crashed into a bridgehead near Deleni in Constanța.

In the vehicle were six people, mostly migrants, who were trying to escape from the police. The accident occurred around 7:15 AM, and witnesses stated that the car was being pursued by a Border Police vehicle, the driver refusing to stop at their signals. Emergency crews from SMURD and Ambulance intervened at the scene, transporting the six men to the Constanța County Emergency Hospital, in serious condition, two of the victims being unconscious and intubated. Four of the people in the car were from Georgia, and two did not have identification. The Traffic Police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
