According to data published by the European Copernicus Observatory, September 2025 was the warmest September ever recorded, with a global average temperature of 16.11 °C, 1.47 °C above pre-industrial values. The high temperatures particularly affected Eastern Europe and polar regions. In contrast, certain areas in America and Asia experienced drier conditions. These data reflect the ongoing impact of climate change and the accumulation of greenhouse gases.
