The police carried out 14 searches in Giurgiu, Constanța, Călărași, and Buzău, targeting public officials and an institution from Stănești, as part of a criminal case.

On Wednesday, police officers from the counties of Giurgiu, Constanța, Călărași, and Buzău executed 14 search warrants as part of an operation targeting offenses of abuse of office and embezzlement. The action was coordinated by a prosecutor from the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Giurgiu Court and took place at the headquarters of a public institution in the locality of Stănești, as well as at the homes of some public officials in the area.


Additionally, the social headquarters of some commercial companies from the four mentioned counties were also targeted. The operation was supported by the Special Actions Service from Giurgiu and the police officers investigating economic crime from the other involved county police inspectorates.
