Searches in Covasna in a fraud case related to eMag

Following an investigation, the police and prosecutors from Covasna conducted 23 searches in a case of fraud related to a fictitious job offer at eMag. The victim was contacted via Telegram by a fake recruiter, who promised substantial earnings for assisting merchants on the platform. She was misled into making payments, totaling a damage of 45,746 lei. Twenty-two suspects were interviewed, and investigators seized relevant evidence.
