Satoshi, the representative of the Republic of Moldova at Eurovision 2026, has made a call for reason after the controversy generated by the low score given to Alexandra Căpitănescu, the representative of Romania. Although the audience in Moldova awarded Romania the maximum score of 12, the jury decided to give only 3 points, a discrepancy that surprised the presenter Margarita Druță. Satoshi emphasized on Instagram that the two countries are friends and called for avoiding the fueling of hatred between nations. Journalist Victoria Cușnir, a member of the jury, explained that the scores were given based on the performances during the jury rehearsals, which were different from those in the final. This incident has sparked reactions and discussions among Eurovision fans.
