On April 15, the Orthodox Church honors Saints Apostles Aristarh, Pud, and Trofim, part of the seventy disciples of Christ, who significantly contributed to the spread of the Christian faith after the Resurrection. Aristarh, originally from Thessalonica, was a close associate of the Apostle Paul, accompanying him on missionary journeys and supporting him in difficult times, including during imprisonment. Pud, a notable Christian from Rome, was known for his hospitality and became a meeting point for the early Christians. Trofim, from Ephesus, was a devoted collaborator of Paul, remaining steadfast in faith despite persecutions. All three were martyrs, demonstrating courage and dedication in the face of persecution. Through their example, Aristarh, Pud, and Trofim remain models of steadfastness and sacrifice for faith. A prayer to these saints invokes their help to gain patience, courage, and pure love, strengthening faith and protecting families.
