In the first four months of 2025, Romania exported cereals and cereal-based preparations worth €1.084 billion, 12.1% less than in the same period last year, according to the NSI. Imports rose by 2.12% to €542.3 million, resulting in a surplus of €541.8 million. The biggest exports to the EU were to Italy, Spain, Poland and Bulgaria.
