The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) has announced that a detachment of 40 Romanian firefighters, equipped with nine technical means, will carry out patrols and exercises in Greece, within the framework of a European fire prevention program. This program, which runs from August 1 to September 15, aims to support the Greek authorities in managing the high risk of fire, rated category 3. Along with other European countries, Romania is showing solidarity in the face of climate challenges by actively contributing to European civil protection.
