From August 1 to September 15, 2025, Romanian firefighters participated in a pre-positioning program in Greece, conducting joint training sessions and intervening to extinguish fires. The module included fire engines of various capacities and was part of an assistance program funded by the European Union, aimed at supporting Greek communities affected by fires. This collaboration strengthens the Romania-Greece partnership in managing natural disasters.
