The US Embassy in Bucharest emphasizes the progress in 2025 in cooperation with Romania to strengthen regional security and NATO.

In a message dedicated to Romanian-American cooperation, the Embassy of the United States of America in Bucharest highlighted the progress made in 2025 in strengthening regional security and enhancing NATO's position on the eastern flank. American diplomats mentioned important events, such as the NATO Summit, where the increase of defense spending to 5% of GDP was approved, which strengthened the Alliance's deterrence capacity.

Additionally, the Saber Guardian 25 exercise improved the interoperability of the participating forces, and the U.S. Air Forces participated in the Bucharest International Air Show, enhancing cooperation in the field of air defense. The Sea Breeze 2025 exercise supported the security of the Black Sea alongside regional partners. The Embassy emphasized that these actions are part of the ongoing efforts to ensure the readiness and determination of the United States and its allies in defending common interests.
