Economy Minister Radu Oprea has announced that Romania will produce high-performance powder for ammunition in cooperation with the German company Rheinmetall.

The ammunition powder production project is part of efforts to diversify Romania's arms production. Our country is already involved in the production of 155 mm caliber rockets and howitzers, and the project for a powder factory has received approval for European funding. Minister Oprea stressed that there is demand and contracts for ammunition produced in Romania.
