Romania has dispatched a Black Hawk helicopter to Bulgaria to help put out vegetation fires amid devastating outbreaks.

Following a request for help from Bulgaria, Romania has dispatched a Black Hawk helicopter to help put out the vegetation fires affecting the neighboring country. The helicopter took off from Bucharest and is expected to take part in intervention missions for at least two days. This is the first external intervention by Black Hawk helicopters, and other European countries have also offered support by sending aircraft.
