Dragoș Pîslaru, Minister of European Investments and Projects, announced that Romania has reached an absorption rate of European funds of 16.3%, higher than the EU average of 11.4%. With €5.64 billion and more than 5 800 projects under implementation, the country has seen a significant acceleration compared to last year. The sustainable development and transport programs stand out for their excellent performance. Pîslaru stressed that there is no risk of losing cohesion policy funds this year.
