Denis Mihail expressed Romania's gratitude for the contribution of 50 million euros within the framework of the 'List of Priority Purchases Necessary for the Defense of Ukraine' (PURL). This amount will support Ukraine's defense efforts and help protect the population. The Romanian government adopted a resolution joining other states in support of Ukraine, adhering to the budget ceiling for 2025.

PURL is an important tool for U.S. foreign policy, aimed at involving partner states in support of Ukraine. Romania's contribution will strengthen Ukraine's capabilities and contribute to regional security, in line with NATO commitments. The resolution has been published in the Official Monitor, and the Ministry of National Defense will manage the use of the allocated funds.
