Romania thus asserts its role as a transatlantic partner in the field of economic security, aiming to strengthen supply chains for rare minerals. Ţoiu emphasized the interconnection between economic and security plans, advocating for the strengthening of EU-U.S. relations in investment and processing.
Romania, recognized for its resources, aims to become a strategic player in the European supply chain by revitalizing mining operations and expanding explorations. In the next 30 days, a Memorandum of Understanding will be finalized for the development of coordinated trade policies, in the context of the European Act on rare raw materials. Our country is preparing to contribute to the defense, technology, and green energy industries, recognizing the importance of rare minerals in the technological future.
