A road accident occurred in the locality of Vânători-Neamț, where an 8-year-old minor was hit by a car driven by a 26-year-old Ukrainian man. The incident happened while the child was crossing the street in an unauthorized place, without a pedestrian crossing. At the scene, the police discovered that the driver presented a fake driving license. He was tested for alcohol, with a negative result. Following the incident, the authorities opened a criminal case for driving a vehicle without a license, forgery, and bodily harm through negligence.
