Renault is to stop production of the Megane and launch a new electric E-Tech model.

Renault will drop the Megane model, which has been popular for four generations. In the Megane's place, Renault will launch the electric E-Tech model, which combines compact and crossover features. Renault will also collaborate with Dacia on two internal combustion car models to be launched in two years' time.
