Remus Ștefureac, political scientist, analyzed on Digi24 the impact of the motion of censure on Romanian politics and economy, stating that a "turning point" is approaching. He highlighted the acute polarization of society and the multiple crises, including the economic and security crisis, that affect the lives of citizens.

Ștefureac mentioned the feeling of injustice felt by many Romanians, who are facing rising prices and taxes. The political scientist emphasized that, in the case of forming a majority around PSD and PNL, long-term stability would be compromised. He suggested that PSD should take on governance if the motion is adopted, considering it is the largest party in Parliament. In conclusion, Ștefureac warned that, unlike other motions, this one could have significant long-term consequences in Romanian politics.
